The Party Committee of Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company – Vinacomin is a grassroots party committee, directly under the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee.
At the time of its establishment, the Party Committee consisted of 62 Party members operating in four Party cells. Over more than 60 years of development and growth, the Company’s Party Committee has continuously expanded in both scale and quality, with the role and influence of the Party organization increasingly strengthened and affirmed. At present, the Party Committee has nearly 1,000 Party members.
From its establishment to the present, the Company’s Party Committee has gone through 29 Party Congresses.
In recent years, the Party Committee of Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company – Vinacomin has consistently fulfilled its functions and responsibilities as a Party organization in a state-owned enterprise, providing comprehensive leadership over organizational activities and production and business operations, particularly during the period of renovation and reform. The Party Committee has always served as a center of unity, promoting collective wisdom and strictly adhering to the principle of democratic centralism; issuing resolutions and practical solutions closely aligned with actual conditions, and effectively leading the successful fulfillment of annual political tasks. As a result, even during the most difficult periods and stages, the Company has gradually overcome challenges, steadily stabilized its operations, and achieved sustainable development.
With the achievements attained, over the years the Party Committee of Ha Lam Coal Joint Stock Company has been awarded many prestigious honors. From 1980 to 1983, it was presented with the “Strong and Clean Party Committee” flag by the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee. From 1984 to 1993, the Party Committee was rated as a “Good Party Committee.” From 1994 to 2005, it was continuously recognized as a “Strong and Clean Party Committee.” In 2006, the Party Committee was awarded the Second-Class Labor Order by the State. In 2007, it was recognized by the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee as an “Outstanding Exemplary Strong and Clean Party Committee.” In 2009, it was awarded a flag by the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and recognized as an exemplary “Strong and Clean Party Committee” for the four-year period from 2006 to 2009; it also received a certificate of merit for three years of implementing the campaign “Studying and following the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh.” From 2010 to the present, the Party Committee has continuously been rated by the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee as having successfully and excellently fulfilled its tasks.
